I saw this YouTube video this morning over on Frederator Studios and no matter how many times I see it, I still think it is cool.
While some selections are spot on (who can argue that “Tron” is not a benchmark of CG), some leave you scratching your head as to why they were listed instead of other films. For example, they list “Radioland Murders” but not “Toy Story”. Also, three of the films on the list haven’t been released yet. Huh?

If all fans of “The Dresden Files,†which was canceled by The SCI FI Channel are serious about wanting to get their show back with all new episodes, there might be something you can do.
Taking a page from the “Save Jericho†script, one of our Slice of SciFi fans by the name of John VanSeters took our cue about Mike’s suggestion of sending drum sticks to the network to the next level and got SCI FI President Bonnie Hammer’s snail-mail address. The drum stick is an appropriate message to send to Hammer since Harry Dresden uses one for his magician’s wand.

SCI FI Renews Battlestar Galactica - ComingSoon.net
SCI FI has renewed its Peabody-winning signature series “Battlestar Galactica.” The Channel will bring the critically-acclaimed series back for a minimum of 13 hours. Production will resume this summer with an eye toward a January 2008 premiere. The decision comes after the series’ successful move to Sunday nights.

A play on Star Wars fans’ nearly universal animosity towards the character Jar-Jar Binks and on the iconic image of the captive Han Solo resulted in Jar-Jar encased in carbonite.
The show has been more of a drama than a Scifi space flick, but it was a nice surprise to see all the beautiful effects and action shots in laast nights episode….Great Show and an awesome wrap for the opening to Season 3.

Man…I have had a hard time making sure I wasn’t missing the new Remastered Star Trek TOS episodes.
Looks like I missed one…apparently there were two this last weekend.
